Rocky Mountain Urgent Care Employee’s Choice Program

The Employee’s Choice Program at Rocky Mountain Urgent Care allows all full-time employees to enter an annual drawing in which the winner selects a charity they would like the company to support for the upcoming calendar year. In 2007, the winner was Dr. Klein from Englewood. Having diabetes herself, Dr. Klein chose to support the American Diabetes Association.

Through the Employee’s Choice Program, RMUC sent 5 kids to diabetes camp and paid Leah Holland, PA-C a week’s salary to stay at camp as a medical camp counselor.

Rocky Mountain Urgent Care/Potomac Medical Group also registered a team with the ADA’s “Tour de Cure” event which took place August 25th at the Boulder Fairgrounds and the “Step Out to Fight Diabetes” in downtown Denver on October 20th.

This year, Melissa Heinle, a medical assistant from Englewood was the winner of the Employee’s Choice drawing. Because of her love of animals, Melissa has chosen the Denver Dumb Friends League as the organization we will support this year. Check back later for more information and ways Rocky Mountain Urgent Care will be involved with the Denver Dumb Friends League in 2008.
