Bethany Barta, Clinical Social Worker



Beth Barta is a licensed clinical social worker and Colorado state certified addictions counselor who maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Commerce City and Northeast Denver. She completed her masters training at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999. Ms. Barta works with individuals, couples and families who struggle with finding a balance in life and want support with developing healthy relationships with themselves and others. “I strongly believe in your potential to grow and find joy in living. I understand that taking the leap to enter therapy is a risk. Therefore, I use a caring, supportive approach to help you grow into your true self. I have a special interest in working with people who are excited and committed to create change in their lives."

You will find that I am eclectic with my interventions. I may share relaxation exercises you can use to minimize anxiety or depression, teach breathing techniques that help relieve stress, suggest a book to read, or together we can explore how past relationships effect how you feel today.
