Patrick Ritchen, PT
Physical TherapyPatrick Ritchen, PT has been practicing as an orthopedic physical therapist for 35 years and is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Science Association. Following his service in Vietnam, Pat attended and graduated from Ithaca College where he played soccer and basketball. In 1983, he established Platte River Rehab and Sports Medicine Clinic in Brighton. In addition to his clinical duties, Mr. Ritchen is the founder of an AAU track team with John Martinez (a "Nine Who Cares Volunteer of the Year) which has produced one national champion and over 25 regional champions in the last 22 years.Some of Mr. Ritchen’s accomplishments include authoring a chapter on the use of massage in the rehabilitation of working dogs for Dr. Robert Taylor, DVM and serving as the physical therapist for the Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. He also recently served as the athletic trainer for the Denver Street School’s 2008 state championship basketball team. Mr. Ritchen and his wife Mary Kay are the parents of three college aged children. Currently, he enjoys his two greyhounds and golf. Pat is currently working on a 35 year streak of never having a bad day at work. |
